Don't ask about rego all that detail is on These are pics of a chopper I'm building and a jig Ive made not one other pair of hands has toughed this project only the use of g clamps and tacked welds to hold stuff while i get to work, Ive had a rough couple of years and have other bikes to upkeep so it has taken some time and you have to be 100% mentally fit and fresh and in the mood for measuring and doing to fab work, so no more than 1 or 2 pipes ok. chucked a pic to give you an idea of what is possible in ya own back shed. Now if you look at a sit like the Harley chopper builders handbook you get drawings and dimensions of the original old chassis and jigs to build them.īut What if you want to build a Trumpy from ground up where do you get info like this to do that, well nowhere i can find so lets do it here and make this a cool chopper builder's thread, im sure there will be a lot of interest or plans to do a featherbed chassis so you can build ya Triton.
